Is this CPU any good?

hello,

I want to buy a new CPU since my current CPU is slow.
I want to know if this CPU is anygood:
Intel 2 Quad 4x2.4

I have a LGA 775 mobo and i know its outdated.
I just want to play games like Skyrim with an smooth FPS
And i dont really care for the gaphics

if you hav a better suggestion, by budget is around €100/150

Other specs:
Nvdia GeForce 8500GT (2.2 GB RAM)
4GB DDR2 RAM
Current CPU: Intel Celeron D 3.2 Ghz

Yes C2Q is going to be a big step up from your celeron. It looks like you are also down on power with video, but the C2Q will be a good start. ;)
