Well... I think I really did it this time... letting my parents buy me a 19" no-name- brand LCD screen without checking if it was any good.
When I play Splinter Cell, Chaos Theory, everything looks pretty nice and crispy, except when it goes dark (e.g. at/after lightning strikes)... and then I see: lot of wite stuff! Kinf of jaggy edges... The rock formation in the distance, where you start out, looks like a jigsaw puzzle piece at the right&top edge. End when you start the boat level (S.S. Maria), the railings from the ship are totally *horrible* ... also when you use night vision you see kind of weird artifacts on some of the railings in the lighthouse (spanish colonial settlement) part.
Now I was wondering if I just fell prey to the infamous "ghosting" problem, or is this some kind of bug with Splinter Cell? I think I gave a pretty accurate description, but I could post a picture of it to clarify.
