We had a hiccup on the VPS hardwareforums.com is hosted on earlier today, causing the entire site to go down for about 30 minutes. We apologize for the difficulty; it seems to have been caused by a capacity-related problem on our host. I'm personally looking into what might've caused the issue, and will work towards a permanent resolution to prevent this from ever happening again. All the best, -AT (Admin, hardwareforums.com)
Know Server Issue The problem ended up being a forgotten cron script that one of us had written a long time ago. It was creating backups but never rotating them, so they eventually filled up the storage capacity of our server. The old backups have been cleaned up, we re-wrote the cron script so it won't happen again, and also took the opportunity to institute secure offsite backups. In short, the problem is resolved and should not reoccur in the foreseeable future. Thanks for your patience, -AT (Admin, hardwareforums.com)
