Meet the Titans of Technology

Anti-Trend

Nonconformist Geek
Linus Torvalds, creator of Linux:

Beloved Finnish-Swede kernel hax0r,
uber-geek, and all-around nice guy.

Richard Stallman, founder of GNU:

Free love, free code, free pizza! Behind every
great software project is an unshaven hippie.

Steve Jobs, Apple / Pixar founder:
attachment.php

Yuppie icon extrordinaire. Rumour has it,
his excrement actually smells like fresh-
baked cinnamon rolls.

Bill Gates, Microsoft founding member:
attachment.php

"I'll never do it again your honor,
I swear! Would I lie to you?"

Steve Ballmer, Microsoft CEO:
attachment.php

May very well be the devil incarnate. He was Last seen
weilding a chair and threatening to "F---'ing kill" everyone.

Eric Schmidt, Google CEO:
attachment.php

The target of Ballmer's alleged "F---'ing kill"ing.
He kind of looks frightened. Of course, you'd be frightened
too if Ballmer was lumbering towards you.
I hope the man can run quicky.

Brilliant AT! :D

Stallman looks like he is going to have one hell of an attack of the muncheis....
If you catch my drift .......... ;)

Don't know about you lot but I would definitly bring my running shoes to a meeting with the soul eating fella!

All Richie Stallman is missing is a bong in the background.

I think Steve Ballmer is to Microsoft what Howard Dean is to the DNC. It's just not that hard to see Ballmer going "Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeehaw!"

Heh nice.

That Stallman, what a l337 hippie.

I can't stand that Ballmer guy, its almost unbearable.

Ballmer is a psycho.

I'd like to have tea and cakes with Stallman, although he seems like the kind of guy who would sit there and say "Duuuuude, is that teapot talking to the sugar" in a quiet, strained voice.

Steve Jobs - He just seems like a really cool guy, like the kind of guy that would go home, flick on the TV and kick back with a beer whilst watching a sitcom, but maybe that's just my view of him :P

- Obviously developers can get him all hot a sweaty ;)
- Needs some heavy sedation...

I always pictured him as the "sip double-fru-fru latte in the park while scooping the droppings of his pure-bred canine with a pearly-white pooper-scooper" type, but that's just me. :)

Re: Ballmer, I think this says it all. :D

Gates was the chief egghead at MS. Ballmer is the cheif demonic overloard of MS. It doesn't seem like he has a grasp on the technical aspects...which means he could really drive MS into the ground by trying for the money only aspect. With Gates going away, I think Ballmer left alone will drive the company into the ground in short order.
