just received error code 32 from Kubuntu's "Disk & Filesystems - System Settings" while trying to enable the mount of hdb8 (2Gb) - going to seach net for an answer, but i thought i'd post it here too Edit: sorry guys, i must have pressed print screen twice, but you can still see
Seems to be suggesting the partition is corrupted... you could give this a try: Repairing Linux ext2 or ext3 file system | nixCraft
thankies, the error still exists (if it is an error)[ot]i got too involved in solaris (in VMware)[/ot]
Yeah, looks like either the filesystem or the partition table was damaged. Has anything been changed on the system since the last time you could access that partition, especially on the partition table?
i don't know, it's actually left over from a previous installation, it could be a swap partition, any ideas about identifying the FS type, cos if i can illiminate swap i could then make a start (if i knew FS type[ot]downloaded solaris again, you don't happen to know how to update it, install 686 kernel (stuff like that)[/ot] *IMP OPLC - One Laptop Per Child whats that ?
 , sorry, the partition has magically fixed it's self, yeah it was a 2 Gb Ext3, but i've now resised it to 50Gb and put a load more iso images on it, thankies anyway
