I appreciate the advice and the info you guys have passed on to me in helping me make up my mind, which in turn made me spend more money. Thank, for the help.

I'm sure when I get this thing together I will have to tap into your sources of information again. I probably went a little overboard on the spending considering this is my first build. Oh well we will see.

Later.

Looks sweet! just make sure you dont let it go to waste, run folding@home to make sure you dont waste one cycle of that machine! (and also do some good while doing it :P)

Actually, that machine is dual core.... you might even have to have 2 clients running (at the same time) to use 100% of that system.

http://folding.stanford.edu/ (you could even joing the Hardwareforums folding@home Team! )

That machine si going to be insane..... 8 sata plugs, dual lan, firewire, surround sound....... Make sure you post some pics!

Awww come on don't rain on my parade!!:D
Actually, I was thinking the all Cu heatsink came in the 120mm version and I didn't want to go that big. I guess I was a little careless and didn't really think about it too much. In the end you are right, I should've gotten the all copper system.

You know from a material standpoint Cu had a thermal conductivity 50% better than aluminum. Hopefully this doesn't hold absolutely true in comparing the Al-Cu heatsink and the all Cu heatsink. If it does that would mean if the Cu system ran at 32C then an all AL system would be running at 48C.

Surely that won't be the case.:(
