Nero for Linux

On a side note, really weird that i am looking for DVD ripping software rate now, and there are like three other threads relating to it. Anyways, i had no idea Nero made software for Linux, thats pretty cool, cause i really like Nero.

Nero – Nero - Nero Linux 3

I always use Nero when I need to burn something in Linux. The interface looks the same as Nero Burning Rom for Windows.

I still prefer k3b, which is free and open-source. So far I've never had need of anything else, so I haven't given Nero a serious look to be honest.

yeah, i've used Nero for *nix, but, TBH, i can't remember anything about it, however, i also use k3b on a regular basis and i have to say, [strike]i like[/strike] no love k3b as i can easily do whatever i want or need to do with k3b

There's not much I can't do in k3b. For dvd ripping, I'll probably use DVD::rip, k9copy or dvdshrink on windows.

yeah, finding worthwhile, good free-ware, or for that matter shareware for Windows is REALLY hard, there is a ton of stuff out there, but most of the times it doesn't work right, or windows freaks out. While on Linux, most of the open-source or free software is well made and worthwhile. Yeah, i really like Nero, its really clean and simple. That and i don't really have a problem with buying software, as long as its worthwhile, that and i really like Nero.
