New build, I need some help troubleshooting

Built this new gaming machine and powered it. Everything seems fine, the LEDs, the fans, the DVD drive. I'm trying to set the BIOS up for the mother board but NONE of my USB ports will work. None on the extra card, not even the ones built on the motherboard.
That is the only thing wrong. I checked to make sure the keyboard wasn't a dud and it wasn't.

Any ideas?

K8N Neo4 Motherboard
6800GT 256MB Nvidia Geforce Graphics card.
1Gig of RAM
80Gig SATA Hard Drive
 
Are you saying you can't change the CMOS settings because you keyboard USB isn't working because of the ports?

My mother board has a button that clears the CMOS settings, pressed it a couple of times and nothing happened. I have been trying to install the BIOS and I have to hit the "del" key to get to the setup menu but I can't because my keyboard won't work. It just doesn't seem to be getting power from the USB ports.
 
Check your board's manual.
I know that on my board, I can make some changes, using a jumper, to some USB settings/behaviour (like enabling the front sockets or the back etc...). I am really not sure but I just had a 'memory flash'......
It's worth a look.....

If you have not got a manual but you know your make and model try and google for the manual...
 
Try plugging in a regular PS2 keyboard, go into BIOS and enable USB Keyboard Support there!

Does it matter if it's a USB keyboard with a PS2 adapter?
I tried it that way and it was a "no go."
 
Just tried with a PS2 Keyboard and it didn't work. Quick question:
When I reset the CMOS (manual calls it an SW1 clear button).

The wording it uses is a little weird. "Press the button in the middle of the connector top side to clear the data."
 
I had the same problem so i took the battery out and now my pc dosent even turn on

but before when it did turn on i couldnt get into the bios because it was the first tim turning on
