PSU enough to power my system?

Here are my Spec's:

AMD/ P4 Ready ATX Case 350 Watt Power Supply
Asus Motherboard P4PE Intel845PE Chipset DDR333
Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.66 Ghz
Microsoft Windows XP Professional-Service Pack 2
Elixir 2x512MB PC2700 DDR333
Seagate Barracuda 160 GB 7200RPM Internal ATA/100 Hard Drive
Sound Blaster Live 5.1 Sound Card
LG CD-R/RW Drive 52x24x52x
Toshiba DVD 16x/CD-Rom 48x Drive

Im going to add this card to my system

I have the 350 watt im going to replace,Would this power supply be enough to power my whole system with the new video card or should i go with around 500watts?

Well, given that PC Power & Cooling is the pinnacle in regards to power supplies, I really wouldn't worry about it not being enough.
 
yeah, you should definitely be fine, like Big B said, PC power and cooling are really good at making power supplies, that said, i have a newer machine than that, that had SLI and it was powered by a 500w unit, (probably the same output at the PC power and cooling unit)
 
Thanks for the reply's,yea for that PSU it says it peaks at 520 watts,the PC P&C Turbo Cool 510 ATX is $189,and the Corsair 520HX ATX is $130,so yea i was thinking about going with the 470,is a good 12v single rail as good as multiple rails?
 
Multiple +12V rails were implemented to avoid having one loaded +12V and keep from having a ton of amperage going through the rail. Some PSU's have 50A+ combined on the +12V rails, and that's really insane, and from what more knowledgeable people have told me---it can be dangerous.

Having said that, let me reiterate that PC Power & Cooling is of the highest quality. They are the Rolls Royce of power supplies. Now, you bring up Corsair, and they are another excellent choice.

If you're not planning on a mega upgrade, any 450-500W unit will be fine. If you want a cheap alternative, check out FSP/Fortron/Sparkle or Ultra units (avoid the X-Connect line, there were some problems, but otherwise, they seem to be fine). The 7600 is a fine midrange card, so you don't need a monster PSU to power the system, just a solid unit.
 
well B, i cant see 50A being dangerous, as the power supply i ordered not 3 hours ago, has 4 12V rails combining to 48A. As long as its a decent make like mine is thermaltake toughpower series, i assume it is decent performance without being dangerous.

that power supply should be fine. Considering i ran the following on my 500Watt cheap sumvision PSu: Athlon 64 3200+ overclocked to 2.41GHz and over volted by 0.1v. 2 512 sticks, 3 optical drives, 2 hard drives, nforce 3 board, geforce 6600 and 10 or 11 fans in total, all LED ones. In fact that PSu has just died on me, just ordered new one. Anyway yes, it should be fine.
 
I meant to put one single high-amp +12V, but I didn't. While it does have a downside, the upside is that you don't have to worry about one device having a cap if it requires more amperage than the PSU supplies on a given rail.
