Putting a good card in an aging tower

Hello,

I bought my computer almost four years ago and upgraded the video card last year to a GeForce GT 430 after the one that came with the computer began to get noisy. A year later the same thing is happening, the fan is too noisy, so I bought the GT 620, but it's ALREADY as noisy as my 430 and I'm pretty sure performance is actually slightly WORSE when I game.

I would just upgrade to a newer generation, but the problem I'm running into is that the RAM is right next to the video card slot in my tower (HP pavilion Pheonix SE) and the cards coming out these days are frikkin monsters that won't fit without bumping into other components. It's why I went with the GT 620 in the first place.

Can someone recommend a card that is around the same size as a GT 430, 3x6 inches? I'm looking for a decent card that will hold me over for a few months with modern games until I can build a new pc for gaming.

Appreciate any help you guys can give me.
 
What is this card ?? AGP /PCIe or PCI... You know they make cards without fans, that are just as good..Or just install a good fan on the card.
 
Looks like this card and the last one I had are PCI-express.

Do cards without fans not have problems with overheating? I will look into the possibility of a new fan, although I'm gonna return the 620 anyway, all the reviews I'm reading say it's junk for the money.
 
Try a GTX 650 Ti, newly released, best card for the budget.
I personally have this card, I can play ACR 3, Borderlands 2, BF3, Crysis 2, Dota 2, in max settings.
It's a relatively small card, but it packs alot of punch. :D GTX 650 Ti is really a great card for budget oriented gamers.

Quick Question: What's your PSU specs? noisy fans can/may indicate PSU problems.
