Recommendation for a budget 24 ich monitor

Hello,

My Samsung 19 inch LCD monitor died and I want to purchase a 24 inch monitor. The models that I was proposed were the following:

Samsung B2440L (not LED )
Samsung BX2440 (LED)
Samsung BX2450 (LED)
LG W2486L (LED)


I know that there are many other brands and better monitors but these are the 24 inch monitors among the brands, models and of above all my budget that I found in almost all the stores I visited. Can you recommend one of them and according to you do the LED LCDs monitors give a much better picture than the regular LCDs?

One more question: some monitors are 17, 19 , 22 , 24 or more inch but I am curious to know the technical reason for a 23.6 inch?

LED backlit monitors do give a brighter, clearer and thus sharper picture than standard LCDs.
