is it a rope? I know it doesnt really fit with the stregnth thing but I cant think of anything else.
Yes, it is a rope, and yes it fits with the strength thing. Think about it -- ten men can pull on a rope in a tug-of-war, and it won't break.

Somebody else want to post one? Prefferably one what can't be Googled, as some can't resist the temptation.

hmm there isnt one without giving it away. Look what the second lines does to the first etc

What row of numbers comes next?

1
11
21
1211
111221
312211
13112221

Ok, say it out-loud in words:

1
11
21
1211
111221
312211
13112221

"One"
"One One"
"Two One(s)"
"One Two, One One"

It's just saying the number of numbers in the line before, etc...

Got a Riddle For You

Hi guys i got a riddle for you hope none of you have heard it before but i guess someone will have.

anyways lets start

Three women want to buy a TV for £30 they all decide to chip in £10 each so they can buy the TV. So that means that each women paid £10 only for the TV.

They buy the TV and go enjoy it at home. Meanwhile the shop keeper feels sorry for the ladies as they are poor and decides to reduce the price of the TV by £5 (give them a discount). He gives the £5 to his shop assistant and tells him to deliver the £5 to the three ladies.

The shop assistant agrees to do so and on the way he steals £2 from the £5 and puts it in his pocket. There is £3 left over and gives £1 back to each women.

So that means that each women paid £9 for the TV as they got £1 back. 3 x 9 is 27 + the £2 the assistant stole equals £29 where did the £1 GO

lol this is a better riddle get your brain working don't like those simple ones that you figure out quickly.

I will give you a clue

The way it is layed out creates a mathematical error try and spot it.

So that means that each women paid £9 for the TV as they got £1 back. 3 x 9 is 27 + the £2 the assistant stole

That's your mathematical error.

Here's two work-around to present the real answer:

Now that it costs 25 instead of 30, this means that at least one person paid more than the other two (if you wanna do fractions, be my guest). So, 9,9,7 satisfies this, as well as 10, 8, 7, etc. If we give back 3, that means we'll have 9,9,10 or 10, 8, 10, or any other combination. Then, it's easily seen that the two extra dollars kept will add the total of 30.

Second way:

Currently, each woman paid 10, to make 30. That means, when you have 5 going back to them, they will have paid 9 apiece with 2 extra. However, you do not add this 2, you subtract it since you're initially subtracting (10-->9) so 27 - 2 = 25.

VERY EASY...
