Hi all. So I finally bought my 22' Samsung and although it came with the infamous A panels I hooked it up.
After reading about 150 reviews on Newegg I was pretty sure this was the right screen - all saying this is the best 22' out there.
First thing I noticed was that the colours were WAYY of from factory. ("upgrading" from a ViewSonic so) Anyho adjusted the colours but still have a huge problem with black and white;
The just look so awfull on this screen!
Was playing Oblivion which was impossible because in dark areas everything just turned into one big grey cloud.
I also gave up watching Last Exile after that oh so pretty milky sky on my CRT turned into 22 inches of pure indistinguishable whiteness on my Samsung.
I don't know if theres something wrong with my screen or neweggs reviewers eyes?
So:
Is it common for LCD's (TN panels) to display light and dark colours so poorly?
Is there some sort of adjustment trick that make it all go away?
Or should I return and get an S version instead of my A?
OR - return and save up for a Dell 2407?
