Hey guys, I'm building a new computer with this specs:
Mobo - BFG 680i SLI
Processor - Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
RAM - Geil Ultra 2Gb 800Mhz CL4
Case - Antec 900
GPU - BFG 8800GTX
Cooler - Zalman CNPS 9700NT
Hard - disk: Seagate Barracuda 500gb Sata II
PSU - Thermaltake Toughpower 750w modular
DVD burner - LG gsa-h42lrb
1. Do you think the cooler will fit the mobo and the case? Because i hear it is absolutely HUGE and my concearn is that it will interfear with the northbridge heatsink...
2. Also the 8800GTX do you think it will fit the case? Because i hear it is extremely large:confused:
3. Also if you have an opinion about the specs i would definitly like to know!:chk: Thx in advance:)

The cooler should fit. Its the smallest one of that kind from zalman

The Gfx card will fit

The specs are fine(understatment)

Thank you for the information, but i am pretty sure that the zalman cooler it's not small at all, it actually has a fan of 110mm and a weight of 1.6 pounds...maybe you are talking about the 9500 series:)

Yes i was wrong :) my bad. i was thinking about the 9500's

Anyway if you think about it these coolers that stand on the heat pipes are actually better because they go up away from the CPU and mobo instead of fanning out over the mobo like the other zalman coolers. I dont think youll have any trouble esp. if its a normal atx mobo like yours
