Pure class dude, I always wondered what OS penguins prefered...
The dock bars, transparency, etc. are provided natively by KDE. The system process stuff is a small script written for Karamba, which is a small applet for KDE. Since Karamba runs in idle process, it really doesn't take up any resources. And KDE doesn't run any slower or use any more resources to display transparency, since it is capable of using hardware accelleration to do alpha blending (transpenancy, shadows). Usually I prefer my desktop to be a little more minimalistic than it is, but change is good. :good:Exfoliate said:Your desktop is so cool and tidy, what programs do you use to get that dock and performace inditcators etc?
