Allright I want to get everyones opinion on this. My buddy had a allright gaming rig that he sold to me for cheap. Ill list specs at bottom. Anyway this comp is running two 6600GT in SLI. Yea 6600GT is a older model but cant be that old to run Counter Strike Source. Well I was playing in a couple servers today and the fps isnt all that great im ranging between 30-70 . thats only with like 6 players, if i get into a server with like 12-15 its like 40fps. I don't know why and also my settings are 1024x768 everything on medium and shadows and shaders are on low. and simple reflections. My buddy plays on a crappy laptop and gets better fps. what do you guys think. Here is my system specs

Asus A8N-SLI-Deluxe Mobo
AMD Dual Core 2.1
2.5 gb DDR 400 RAM
500gb HD
2 6600 GT in SLI

I dunno yea its older stuff but still not bad and I would least expect to see a little better FPS out of it

40fps is fine shouldn't have a problem. Yea it is old technology but it does sound about right 40-70fps when there's not much going on. when you hit alot of action should definalty expect it to spike between 30 - 60fps.

BTW: Have you got SLI enabled on the game? then it will use both of your card and you should see an increase in FPS.

yes sli is enabled and that's the FPS i am getting, ive been reading forums and i have been seeing guys getting like 70fps on all high my settings are pretty much all low
