lol, Internet!
So I was copyin all my data off of my 200gb WD IDE drive because the partition table was messed up and some partition programs were reading it as 800gb. So ok I got all my data off, ok great just gotta format it now. So as I'm formatting it I notice the IDE ribbon cable starts smoking and the plastic melting so I turn the power off immidiately and replace the cable. Boot it back up and the drive makes that beautiful clicking noise. Anyone ever heard of a smokin IDE ribbon before? Western Digital has gone down hill.
Oh and for those of you who are wondering, the power supply is not generic :)
