Okay i'm posting this here as its about cooling... Well i have just been wondering whether SpeedFan accurately measures temeratures.
I usually use CoreCentre (an MSI utility that came with my Motherboard) to do this but recently is has been giving me error messages when the computer loads up saying 'Failed to Load Hardware Monitor' then when ok is clicked another error message saying 'No Hardware Monitor' then once ok is clicked again system immediately reboots (no logging off or shutting down)
The temps in core centre and speed fan used to be fairly similar, speed fan sometimes measured +/-3*C, but i have just read my cpu temperature at 19*C! I know it dropped to 25*C since i got this new cooler but surely not 19*C? If only core centre worked i could find out for sure as Core Centre is an MSI utility and i think can be trusted more than SpeedFan. If SpeedFan is telling the truth then YAAAY, if not then oh well...
