switching on

having problems with my computer have to press power button 4 or 5 times before it will start up is this just the switch problem or is there something else that could be the trouble thanks for any help
 
Hey

it could just be a problem with the switch on the case. A way for testing this is take the side of the case and find the wire that comes from the switch and onto the motherboard, pull the wire of the connections and short the two pins with a screwdriver (ensuring not to touch anything else) if the computer starts first time it should prove its the switch.
