TOOOOO Long To Log On

After Installing Windows XP (Including Drivers) Everything Was Working Perfectly Until A Couple Of Days, Now When You Switch It On It Seems To Be Working As It Should (Reboot Menu, Loading OS, Speed) Only Promblem Is That It Takes A While (With A Blank Screen) Before Loging In And Loading Desktop Settings. Help!!!

currupted login files, only way to fix that i know of is to create a new account, that will solve the problem
