    Sniper, Ive been looking around for a new ISP. Pipex is good and quite cheap. Plus its got 256kbps upload, but check this place out....

    BT 512 down, 128 up with 50:1 contention = £30
    This place 1mb down 256kbps up, 40:1 contention = £30
    2mb down 256kbps up 40:1 contention =£40.

    This is well cheap! I might get a 2mb!

    pipex are offering to uprade you to 1MB for an upgrade fee, I think around £35? you pay around £29.60 a month...which is bad considering if you signup new you dont have to pay the upgrade fee! but you will have a 12 months contract, which I was on a year ago, so even if I upgrade I can cancel any time without any fees, else if you sign up new and want to cancel within 12 months you have to pay around £50 I think...
