Using Peltier as a radiator

Hi,
I am currently stuck with the stock Big W. 745 rad (2x 120MM). It sucks especially on days where my basement is hot. To break away from the reliance of ambient temps, I was wondering if I could use a peltier as a rad, rather than a water block. My rig goes like this pump>rad>cpu>gpu>reservior I was wondering if I could just go pump>peltier>cpu>gpu>reservior.
Just using a cpu cooling one, if i run the water through it will it get cooled
 
Well, that's an interesting theory. However, the thing going against the peltier vs. a rad are like this:

-Radiators have a larger surface area to dissipate heat.
-Radiators have more tubing where heat can be extracted from.
-Peltiers don't traditionally have tubing, unless you have a water-cooled peltier, in which the peltier cools the CPU, and the water cooling system extracts heat from the hot side. The heat here is still dealt with in the radiator.
 
wow, good point. I guess that probably wont work. Ill have to buy a swifttech 3x 120MM rad and pop it on top of my case. Thanks for the fast response.
 
Are my temps ok. I know it is alot of heat at 4GHZ but how much can the cooling handle. 34-36C Idle (depending on Ambient). 52C Load. Takes about 45min to get to 52. Stays at 48 then 50 then 52, once it went to 54 when it was hot
 
52*C at 4GHz isn't too bad. I'm sure you could get lower, but that involves going with something like phase change or liquid nitrogen. A new WC kit, built with custom parts could be better, but for many, I doubt the change would be worth the hassle.
 
You're right. The temps are fine. Its just im a little bit of a temp freak and now that I have wcing it just feeds into it. Thanks again.
 
Also, it's warming up here in the US, so unless you live in Alaska, your temps will rise. If that's 52*C @ load, that's very good. My Pentium D 920 at load with F@H running on both cores has seen 53*C on a hot day with the stock cooler.
