After almost a month being an active member here at HWF's i decided to make this thread. It covers the video cards listed below to give people a general idea on how today's video cards perform. Note these are a just a general guideline and are NOT 100% accurate.

All information is courtesy of Tom's Hardware.

Cruising for sticky material I see:P I say it deserves to be a sticky, good work.
How far back are you planning on going? There are GeForce 2's, 3's, 3 TI's, 4MX's, 4800's (I think), Radeon 7000, 7200, 7500, 8000, 8500, 9000, 9000Pro, 9100, 9200, and 9200Pro. And that leaves plenty of cards floating around within my little list too, Like the Geforce 2MX. But who in the right mind would "upgrade" to any of these.

Toms hardware needs a little revision under their PCIe cards. Bolded ones were missing.

My computer has been out of action for a day and a half so thats why there's no update yet!
I will adding the older cards ASAP (ill prob go down to the GF2).

UPDATE:
The 1st link below is the VGA chart including cards (GF 2 series, 3 series, GF4/GF4 Ti series, Radeon VE, Radeon DDR 32/64MB, Radeon 7500, 8500 and 8500LE).

Cards like the Radeon X550 and the GeForce PCX 5300 are harder to find as they havent been out long are usually skipped in testing!

Iv'e tried to make this list as complete as possible but again if there are any missing or you would like included i will be happy to add them!

Cool, good work. Actually the PCX 5300 was one of the first PCIe cards availiable, you can still get one on Newegg naturally.

cool, i was just making an assumption about the 5300 as ive never heard of it!
i'll try to add it.

After days of searching i can't find a worthy review on either the PCX5300 or the Radeon X550!
Sorry!

BTW: Who made this thread a sticky?
Thanks

GeForce 6100 Integrated First Look

Can't find anything rock soild on the GeForce 6600LE, but i know it will be 400MHz core, 128MB 500MHz DDR memory and SLI. Same goes for the 6500. The GeForce 6500 is a unusual card since vendors can opt for TurboCache or standard memory configurations, even though it is based on an NV43 core. Will be 400MHz core and 128MB 700MHz DDR1. But seemes to have a slight edge over the 6600LE. Unfortunately, there are no SLI capabilities (yet) on these cards. So it would probably be safe to assume someone, somewhere, will be able to run a 6500 in SLI mode.

Might want to add the X800GT, GTO and GTO2, (and the X1300 and X1600 series) plus the 6600LE, the 6600XT (if it gets released), the 6100 (it's and intgrated thing), and the 6500. There may be more but I can't always keep up:)

UPDATE:

With the recent release of the GeForce 6800GS a couple of weeks ago, i managed to find a review on the card and the results look promising.
You can swing over to TechwareLabs to read the full review!

Also, i found a review on the X800 GTO2 LE, and of course, you can read it over Here at AMD Zone :good:

P.S - Keep your eyes open on this thread in the near future for the Review links to the upcoming nVidia 7000 series

No particular order, it's really when i found them i posted.
As to what nVidia is comparible to ATi, that's a list too long for me to write :P

(I'm back!) Yeah the 6800GS is a sweet card for the money, overclocked a little and it's supposed to reach 6800Ultra speeds apparently, darn good for a $200 card!
