I am still pricing up a Media Centre build but I dont know how im going to connect the pc to the telly.
The best input on the telly is component (Y,Cb,Cr) so I want to make use of it.
There are graphics cards and motherboards with integrated graphics which have component out so thats one option.
But what if I get a graphics card with DVI-I/A, s-video and VGA and use a converter....
Will there be any difference in quality between the four? s-video and vga will be the cheapest way to do it but I dont know which to use.
Will s-video-->component providea better picture than s-video straight, will s-video-->component provide a better picture than dvi-->component? Will vga-->component provide better a better picture than any of the s-video options.... Im lost!
All I know is that composite is terrible! You cant read windows at all!
