What type of RAM do I have?

Hi Everyone,
I need to upgrade the ram I have in my pc at the moment. I currently am using 256mb of ram but i want to buy some more to get up to 512mb. However i dont know what type of ram i have. All i know is its DDR and thats about it. Can anyone help identify my ram.

Download, run and CPU-Z should give you all the answers....
The SPD tab should reveal the PC number (as in PC2100, PC2300 etc...).

Come back if you are still not sure.....

Also you BIOS should tell you what RAM you are using.

I think CPU-Z would give you a bit more detail....
 
I would disagree that its better than CPU-Z, its a large application while CPU-Z can be run from executable. CPU-Z is updated more often for support for latest hardware.
 
what i mean by better is that, its got more fetures, so its better if your hardware supports it, it may be a little bigger but it give you more detail so therefor its better, i wasent talking about the size and type of file it is.
 
I think EVEREST has more options then CPU-Z, but CPU-Z has more indepth hardware specific information, for the processor mainly.
 
And PC Wizard gives information on pretty much all the hardware on your computer, including model and chip numbers :D although CPU-Z is good if you want quick information, PC Wizard does scan your hardware so takes longer to load.
