I ask this because there are two different models of an AMD processor that I'm considering (6000+). They are exactly the same price, both are 95W, but here are the differences:
- Model "A" is 65nm, 3.1 GHz, only 1MB L2 cache
- Model "B" is 90nm, 3.0 GHz, 2x1MB (2MB) L2 cache
To me, Model "B" seems like a better buy because of the cache, but I'm stumped as to what the real difference is between the 65nm and 90nm versions. Why would they be the same price?
