Right this could turn into a long story...... first of all hi everyone its beeen an age since i posted last. Ok, heres a list of my problems 1)windows installer won't work and justs hangs on "preparing to install" (however I edited the reg in safe mode to allow windows installer to start and it worked fine...) 2) Some of the services required to run Microsoft exchange won't start either (sorry to be so vaugue only i cant remember which ones and the server isnt in front of me until tomorrow) 3) Internet explorer not load properly either and just becomes un-responsive 4) Network and sharing center just loads up white and again freezes. I have noticed, although i might be off the mark that the services that won't start seem to depend on the Remote Procedure Call (rpc) service which is started and seems to be running fine. any help or advice on any of the above points would be greatly appreciated!
