i think he will still need the drivers for installing windows. from the website, u can download non-raid driver aswell. hav u looked where ur pci slots are, it shud be there or when did u purchase ur mobo and what bios date is it. when u boot, it will tell u ur bios date.
this is one thing thats bugging me also, is that i cant get into bios at all. theres a screen that comes up before the boot screen, but it goes so quickly...
Turn on your computer and press Delete key or f2. There is a possiblity of another key, but for me.....these two worked upto now, whenever required.
if its a black screen then press pause/break and it shud stop. if it's a logo, press tab and it shud show the bios. go into the bios and sumwhere u press sumthing like f1 to show system info and it shud show it there. HAV U TRIED LOOKING UNDER UR PCI SLOTS< UR REV. no shud be there
what's an ISA slot? By the way, sorry for my ignorance, this is my first computer that I've built...:O
First of all its not ISA slot what izzy is talking about. Its a PCI........Which looks like this picture
So, a little update for everyone who is interested at all, I went into the bios and made the mobo look for sata, because it was looking for raid before.
