Would this graphics card work with my motherboard?

But I'm not sure that it would work with my motherboard:

The graphics card is "PCI-E"? Does that matter? Would it still fit and work?

no, your motherboard only supports AGP, to use PCIe i think you need to upgrade your motherboard, sorry to be the bearer of bad news

even consider it supports, don't buy 8500gt

you can find x1950pro agp versions if you search a bit
