I'm rather happy right now - I got 75% for my first year at Uni, which I'm rather pleased with :D:D

Programming in C: 87%
User Centered Web-Interface Development: 76%
Foundations of Computer Science: 74%
Information Systems and Database Development: 63%

I'm happy with my mark in "Info Sys" as I freakin' hate that subject, plus they gave us an assignment (worth 40% of that module's mark) on business and business structure / organisation / management, basically we had to completely re-design the company's structure and justify our decisions on hiring / firing staff etc - WE'RE NOT MANAGERS!!!

Anyway, I'm totally pleased with my overall result, it's only the first year though, long way to go yet :)

Congrats dude, excellent marks! I got my 2.1 for the final year, don't know the perecent yet though.

Thanks man, well done on your results too!!

I've now got 3 months and nothing to do, I've decided not to work as I worked during my first year (had to or I'd have had no money)

Nice work - just finished up uni - albeit in a different field.

Still tho, it's not a bad idea to have some managerial experience, even if this class was a bit premature. If you want to make your way up the corp. ladder of any company as a programmer, you'll need to manage people in one way or another.

Best of luck with the next few years!

Yeah we understood why they'd want us to do it, but it's our first year, and we've not studied business before, so it's a bit much a bit soon - we had to study and learn motivational techniques and the psychology behind them, I was lucky I lived with 2 business studies students and they helped me through

Best of luck with the next few years!

Thanks man, you too!
