Windows Xp 64 Bit Wont Install! Help!

Uhh, you don't need drivers. You may have your SATA controllers configured in RAID mode, which does require drivers. By default, the nVidia controller should be setup as a regular, non-RAID ATA controller, but I'm not sure about the Silicon Image one.

i think he will still need the drivers for installing windows. from the website, u can download non-raid driver aswell. hav u looked where ur pci slots are, it shud be there or when did u purchase ur mobo and what bios date is it. when u boot, it will tell u ur bios date.

this is one thing thats bugging me also, is that i cant get into bios at all. theres a screen that comes up before the boot screen, but it goes so quickly...

Turn on your computer and press Delete key or f2. There is a possiblity of another key, but for me.....these two worked upto now, whenever required.

if its a black screen then press pause/break and it shud stop. if it's a logo, press tab and it shud show the bios.

So, a little update for everyone who is interested at all, I went into the bios and made the mobo look for sata, because it was looking for raid before. Now, Windows is installing as I type :)

Thanks a lot guys, I really appreciate all of the help, and like I said I'm new to this hardware thing, so I'm glad to have joined a helpful community like this one :)

I'll post a new thread soon, once I start getting some games up. Holy shit, excitement JUST hit me right now! I have a brand-new kickass computer!!!!

:D
