To be hones, I don't know why would you even wont so old HDD. There is a great probability of it failing.

What laptop is it exactly? I believe that only limitation will be your motherboard on the laptop.

Did you overclocked you ddr's, There may be problem with your voltage or clocks setings.

I would go with Nvidia GTX 280 good quality cards and great for gaming. or you can go for some lower en 400s

I think that you should have HDMI on you satellite decoder, that you can easily connect to you LCD using cable.

Just for general information, I have found out the solution to my problem. Generally you don't have to have the SLI bridge on the cards, so they will still work on the displays but will not slow down in gaming environment. Thanks for looking up the problem:)

Hi all, I have been wondering, if I can disable SLI for gaming, because I want to get second GPU so I can have 3 screens connected but don't see a point in getting another high end GPU for this. Can just get some cheap SLI ready card and disable SLI connection for gaming purposes? Regards...

I have been wondering, having multiple HDDs on you PC. is it wise to have only one HDD for operating system. Then rest of the software and games on the other one. I have been concern that access time and speed may be compromise on in this case. What is you opinion on this matter. Regards Daz
