    Could well be a bus problem as well,how many pci-express x16 slots do you have on your motherboard? if you have another switch it to that slot but in some cases the controller mite winge and ask you to switch back to port one. What O/S are you running? does this happen on any other game?

    Hi, run prime 95 to check for stability issues, also run memtest86 for any memory issues. Run HD Tune to check if you have any dodgy read speeds. other than that it will be power supply unit, gpu is using to much power causing your psu to crap out.     I would upgrade the power supply unit 375w is way to low especially when your playing games it will require more power and if it's a cheap psu it will run not even close to it's stated output. seems to me the gpu is not getting enough power when playing graphics intense games therfor causing it...

    have you got the latest graphics card drivers installed? what's the idle temp of the graphics card? It could also be a power supply unit fault, what brand and wattage psu are you using? Have you checked in device manager under gpu's to see if it has any errors listed?

    seems like you had stability issues generally down to not enough voltage. 1.7v will be fine as it just a cap the PWM will monitor that frequency and adjust the voltage to what's needed.

    your system isn't posting. try resetting the cmos. If no joy after reset cmos there is a problem with the following: motherboard, cpu, ram, graphics card, power supply unit and in some cases cpu fan. So you will have to go through the list and rule one out at a time perfferbaly starting with ram.

    have you done any overclocking? have you checked for stability issues using prime95? have you reseated your graphics cards? what the power output on your psu? have you checked for virus's on your OS?

    Have you tried taking the motherboard out of the case? have you shorted the power switch pins with a flat head screw driver? have you reseated cpu, ram, graphics card incase any of them where shorting. Is you motherboard touching the back of your case?

    when you say PCI-Express 2.0 card is it PCI-Express x1 card? If so yea you can. you can also use a PCI-Express x1 card in PCI-Express x4, x8 or x16 slot the card will just use up the bus lanes needed.

    PCI-Express x16 2.0 is just a higher bus frequency (4GB/s) than PCI-Express x16 1.0 (2GB/s). What power connectors does the card take? 2x 6pin? A PCI-Express x16 2.0 card will work on a PCI-Express x16 1.0 motherboard just has a lower bus cap.
