Fresh Diagnose

A very neat diagnostics program that delivers not only analysis of hardware, but also interesting software analysis, and even benchmarking all in one package. And it looks pretty. It's like PC Wizard, Everest home edition, and other such diagnostic software, but with more features. (However, I'm not sure if the benchmarking is very good. But even it's not, it's still very nice in the other aspects.)

VirtualBox

"innotek VirtualBox is a family of powerful x86 virtualization products for enterprise as well as home use. Not only is VirtualBox an extremely feature rich, high performance product for enterprise customers, it is also the only professional solution that is freely available as Open Source Software under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL). See "About VirtualBox" for an introduction; see "innotek" for more about our company.

Presently, VirtualBox runs on Windows, Linux, Macintosh and OpenSolaris hosts and supports a large number of guest operating systems including but not limited to Windows (NT 4.0, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista), DOS/Windows 3.x, Linux (2.4 and 2.6), and OpenBSD.

VirtualBox is being actively developed with frequent releases and has an ever growing list of features, supported guest operating systems and platforms it runs on. VirtualBox is a community effort backed by a dedicated company: everyone is encouraged to contribute while innotek ensures the product always meets professional quality criteria. "

Note that Linux users can install VirtualBox and easily keep it up to date by using their repository:
Code:
deb http://www.virtualbox.org/debian gutsy non-free
deb http://www.virtualbox.org/debian feisty non-free
deb http://www.virtualbox.org/debian edgy non-free
deb http://www.virtualbox.org/debian dapper non-free
deb http://www.virtualbox.org/debian etch non-free
deb http://www.virtualbox.org/debian sarge non-free
deb http://www.virtualbox.org/debian xandros4.0-xn non-free
Just add the single line from the list above which best matches your distro to /etc/apt/sources.list (Debian users, the "Etch" repo will work fine on Lenny).

Next, add the crypto key so your downloads can be verified automatically with apt-secure:
Code:
wget -q http://www.virtualbox.org/debian/innotek.asc -O- | sudo apt-key add -
Finally, install it with your package manager (as root):
Code:
aptitude install virtualbox

Hex colour picker
There are several Linux clients as well. Namely, kcolorchooser, kcoloredit, and gnome-color-chooser. Very handy for web development.

GCZ for geocaching on WM6

GCZ is an all in one program for windows mobile 6 used for geocaching.

An update has just been released which has hopefully sorted out the GPS nav screen. It seems like it now works! If it doesnt your probably best using GCZ to get your .loc file and open it with BasicGPS.
