New built pc, monitor shows NO SIGNAL...omg help!

after checking ur mobo out its that is the problem dude, the ASUS P5N32 SLI DELUXE doesnt support the the new core 2 duos

right i was just thinking, the gpu is GDDR3... i have on my mobo DDR2 performance ettc.....

i read on the specifications that it takes UPTOP DDR3 to gte best performance so my ddr2 is ok.

CONCLUSION : newpaws and I think its the mobo, so i will return it :P i ahve 12months warrenty. I bought my stuff from Computer Systems and Computer Accessories - CCL Computers Im gonna return the GPU aswell :P just incase :)

Please still post.. if you have other sugestions.

new enlightment:

according to a the asus website you need 0204 bios revision for the cpu, which means you will have to use a traditional pentium or celeron cpu under 3GHz to update the bios ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support-

but firstly test the mobo with a p4 cpu like a celeron or a p4 3ghz (NOT dual-core) if your pc boots with this cpu then its your bios revision (which easilly needs updating) if it still doesnt work i think its safe to say its a knacked mobo

Blizma,

You say you don't have any beep signals when powering up.. but could you take the RAM sticks out (every one) and try and power up this time..

This should give you a beep code (im thinking 1 loooong 2 short => shows GPU fault, but can also be a mobo fault [expecially for asus's] <= most definately!

...and then post your outcome here!

yes i have tried all the beep stuff.....

So..

I can take my old p4 2.2ghz cpu from my old pc..?
GO on msn please again :P im coming on :P i will need some help with the bios updating :D

right.. thats impossible to do :P so that theory is down the loo.

Any other ideas? :(((

Maybe it does have something to do with the psu? not enough juice getting to it? But i plugged everything in :(

I most definately think it's your motherboard which is/has gone faulty.. it seems the only real culprit

I see your an AMD user... Do you think the core 2 duo has beaten AMD? :P

haha, they probably have the majority of most people's choice because there the latest processors out.. :P but when AMD bring out a new line competing heavier with Intel's core 2's it will go back to AMD

And yes I do prefer AMD over Intel / nVidia over ATi. :chk:

LoL. Core 2 Duo has pawned AMD very bad. aparently it will take 1-2years for AMD to shoot intel again :P I like nVidia :P at the moment i hate it because gpu isnt working ;@ No.. suggestions.. anyone.. still?
