Ok, I'm having some *ahem* LOTS *ahem* problems with my computer randomly rebooting itself (Although I have now set it to show BSOD first)..
This typically happens when:
-Playing games
-Copying a DVD
-Watching a movie
I have looked at the error messages in the event manager, and the messages on the BSOD - however, each message is different, sometimes quite significantly different.
Im not a total tech newbie, but not entirely experienced either - and I have a niggling suspicision that it could be overheating...
Fairly old system now : specs are as follows -
Athlon XP 2400 2.0GHz
512MB SDRAM
GeForce 4 4800SE (Think thats the model anyway - using laptop not pc)
It was suggested on another forum that I reinstall video and chipset drivers, however this made no difference.
Can anyone confirm that it is overheating, or suggest alternatives as to what it could be?
Ta!!
